Promoting Vision Zero is a priority for the International Section of the ISSA on Information for Prevention, and it does so through active involvement in various activities. The Forum Prävention 2023 in Vienna, Austria took into account the increasing internationalisation of work, digitalization and cross-border supply chains. In Finland the frequency of workplace accidents is highest in companies with 10 to 49 employees and lowest in both large and micro enterprises. The thematic focus of the publication Management of Hazardous Substances: Practical support based on an overview of European legislation deals with health protection. The International Section of the ISSA on Prevention in the Chemical Industry has developed the presentation: Filling of hazardous substances – Training tool for safety instructions. This years’ International Media Festival for Prevention (IMFP) has received a record-breaking 325 submissions from around the world. A new publication on nudging for a safe and healthy behaviour (in Spanish), and guidance on how to manage near misses (in English), are set to be translated into additional languages.
